Alfred serves as the TimeDone Regional Manager and is a dedicated professional who excels at forging high-level relationships and harnessing community power through a range of effective tactics. His approach includes creating coalition partnerships, lobbying elected officials and government representatives, recruiting and developing volunteers, and engaging voters. By working in close collaboration with diverse communities, youth groups, formerly incarcerated individuals, and other advocacy groups, Alfred ensures that the interests and vision of affected populations are fully represented in his work.

Previously, Alfred served as the executive director of The Isaiah Project (TIP), a youth development program. TIP focuses on empowering vulnerable teenagers through critical thinking, crisis intervention, life skills, trauma rehabilitation, gang prevention, and mediation. The program provides holistic support, encompassing academic, spiritual, and personal growth, while also offering employment opportunities and cognitive behavior modification.

Alfred has demonstrated his commitment to community awareness by developing numerous curriculums and programs aimed at educating and uniting residents and organizations in addressing challenges that often lead to violence. Notably, he founded the Peacekeeper Pact, which assists active gang members and individuals living high-risk lifestyles in obtaining employment and necessary skills for success.

Alfred also spearheaded the LOVE Project, a collaborative team consisting of business professionals, non-profit service providers, executive directors, advocates, organizers, residents, artists, real estate agents, developers, and community activists. This collective engages in social lab-based processes to identify and address the root causes of systemic issues, rather than merely addressing their symptoms.

In 2018, Alfred joined the ACLU of Pennsylvania as a Senior Field Organizer for the Campaign for Smart Justice. This campaign aimed to reduce the U.S. jail and prison population by 50% and combat racial disparities in the criminal justice system. Through his role, Alfred contributed to research, advocacy, and the development of policy ideas to achieve these goals.

Alfred's dedication to smarter, results-based criminal justice policies that prioritize community safety is further evidenced by his previous role as the NAACP's National Criminal Justice Director. He advocated for addiction and mental health treatment, judicial discretion in sentencing, and an end to racial disparities.

As a consultant for various organizations, Alfred focuses on public policy research and advocacy, providing a unique viewpoint on economic and social issues. His areas of focus include strengthening health and ending community violence, building an inclusive economy, tackling climate change and environmental injustice, advancing racial equity and justice, and restoring social trust and strengthening democracy.

Alfred's contributions and dedication have earned him several accolades, including being listed in Who's Who in Black Pittsburgh, recognition as one of Pittsburgh Magazine's 40 under 40, and being named a Man of Excellence by The New Pittsburgh Courier and the Ronald Dillon Organization. He has received awards such as the Pittsburgh Business Times Innovators Award, BMe Black Genius, Incline Magazine's Who's Next in Activism, and the Leader of the Year recognition from the Pittsburgh Human Resource Association for his treatment of staff and innovative business practices.
